MAMOU- It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Albert "Butch" Willis 63, announces his passing on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at home surrounded by those he loved. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Mamou on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. Rite of Committal will follow in the New St. Ann's Cemetery Mausoleum with Father Jude Thierry as Celebrant.
Albert will be greatly missed by his wife of 44 years, Mona Willis of Mamou, LA; one son, Chad Willis Sr. and wife, Tina of Reddell , LA; one daughter, Chasity Blanchard and husband, Damon of Vidrine, LA; his eight grandchildren, Bryce Willis, Chad Willis II and wife, Alexis, Alyssa Fontenot and fiancé, Kurt Landreneau, Levi Fontenot, Branson Fontenot, Cali Willis, Lily Blanchard, and Jayden Willis; his 3 great grandchildren, Drake Willis, Adalynn Landreneau, and Coy Landreneau; and his brother, Jerry Willis of Oakdale, LA.
He will now reunite in Heaven with his parents, Speedia Willis and Nell Guillory, and his stepfather, Bruce Guillory.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Friday from 4:00 P.M. until 11:00 P.M. The Funeral Home will open to resume visitation at 7:00 A.M. until time of services on Saturday, September 23, 2017.
