Angela Kay Gravlin Fruge was born in Bay City, Michigan on January 19, 1955 to Joseph Gravlin and Mary Elwyn Fontenot. She was a resident of Mamou. Angela was an incredibly talented singer with the voice of an angel. She used her special talent at St. Ann‘s Catholic Church, singing in the choir and for weddings and funerals. Angela enjoyed cooking; everything she prepared was very tasty and she could even make butter taste delicious. Angela also enjoyed salt water fishing with her husband, Bobby. Her greatest joy was that of taking care of and spending time with her family, who she loved immensely. Angela will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Angela is survived by her father Joseph Gravlin and wife Louisa of Rotonda West, Florida; daughter, Lynn McDaniel and husband, Donald of Paris, Texas; son, Adam Lafleur and wife Nikki of Mamou; brother, Joe Gravlin and wife, Michelle of Muskogee, Michigan; sisters, Michelle Gravlin Ivea, of Princeton, New Jersey, Karen Soileau and husband, Kirk of Ville Platte, and Suzie LaHaye of Mamou. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her five grandchildren: Kaleb, Luke, Brennan, Evan, and Reece.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Fruge and her mother, Mary Winnie Fontenot.
