MAMOU - Funeral services will be held at a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Mamou on Friday, January 4, 2019 for Anna Belle Vizinat Manuel, 92, who passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 in Mamou.
Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.
Father Billy Massie, pastor of St. Ann's will officiate services.
Anna Belle was born on August 8, 1926, in Point Blue, to Octave and Lilly Vizinat. During her life, she lived in both Mamou and Lafayette. Anna Belle was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church and attended Mass faithfully. She had a stellar personality and was very complimentary toward others. Anna Belle enjoyed gardening, growing flowers, nature, and most of all spending time with and taking care of her family.
Anna Belle is survived by her son James Manuel and wife Annette of Mamou and grandson Jerry M. Dupre of Mamou.
She is preceded in death by her parents Octave and Lilly Vizinat, daughter Jerylyn Manuel, sisters Winnie Ardoin, Elva Vizinat, Romaine Miller, and Ida Ledoux, and nephew David J. Ardoin.
The family requests that visitation be observed at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Mamou on Thursday, January 3 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Visitation will resume Friday, January 4 at 8:00 AM until time of service. A rosary will be recited on Thursday evening at 6:00 PM by Deacon Chuck Ortego.
