Mamou- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 11:00 am forAnthony Tony Johnson, 52, at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou with Father Bob Courville Officiating. Burial will be in the New St. Anns Cemetery.

Mr. Johnson a native of Mamou and a resident of Longville, La passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2008 at his resident following a long illness.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine Johnson of Longville, La ; a daughter, April Danielle Johnson and her husband, Charlie Raunte of Longville, La; one brother, Steve Johnson, of Aransas Pass, Tx; five sisters, Sandy Granger, Jenny Miller and Darlene Melancon all of Mamou, La, Debbie Valdez of Lafayette, La, Charlene Amiot of Eunice, La ; one grandson, Kade Lucas Bertrand.

Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents, Mitchell Johnson and Wilma Dean Young; a sister, Ramona Johnson; and his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bodair Marcantel.

Visitation will be observed on Friday, June 13, 2008 from 9 am- until time of services A Rosary will be recited on Friday at 7 pm.

Ardoin Funeral Home of Mamou is in charge of arrangements.
