MAMOU – Anthony Paul Guillory, 57, passed away at his residence in Chataigner, LA on Thursday, March 19, 2020.
Anthony “Tony” Paul Guillory was a lifelong resident of Mamou, LA. He worked hard his whole life as a diesel mechanic for TCI and UPS and fleet manager for Sysco. Tony was an entrepreneur. He opened a restaurant in Mamou called “Zobo’s” and a home improvement company called “Southern Comfort”. He loved watching baseball and Nascar. He was a huge fan of Richard Petty. He was a huge fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and went to games with his daughter as often as possible. Tony was an avid hunter who enjoyed squirrel, duck, turkey and deer hunting. He often spent time in Tennessee doing what he loved most.
He is survived by his daughter, Katie Guillory; sisters, Debbie Cormier and husband Lionel, Jenny Hairford, and Brenda Douget and husband Shawn; and his only wife Kathy Guillory.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Edley and Bernella “Patou” Vidrine Guillory; and grandparents, Bab and Gertie Vidrine Avie and Ida Guillory.
