MAMOU- It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Armise Amelia Duplechain, 43, announces her passing on Friday March 25, 2016 at her residence. Chapel services will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou. Burial will follow in the Ortego Cemetery in Easton with Brother Ervin Goodman officiating.
A loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Amelia will be greatly missed by her mother, Sylvia Fontenot of Mamou, two brothers, Paul Turner and wife Donna of Eunice, Jimmy Coker of Mamou and one sister, Belinda Turner of Mamou. She will also be greatly missed by her nieces Cameron LaFleur, Jackie Turner, Kendra Coker and Sabrina Darbonne. One Nephew, Brandon Fiatoa and one great nephew, Kameron Turner.
She will now rest in Heaven with her father Jimmy Coker. He awaits her arrival with open arms and a loving heart. Their reunion will surely be a joyous one.
At the request of the Duplechain family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home on Friday, March 25, 2016 from 6:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M.
