Mamou- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 12:30 pm at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou for Mr. Audrey J. Brignac, 82, who passed away on Friday, February 22, 2008 at the Oaklane Nursing Home in Eunice. Rite of Committal will follow in the Old St. Anns Cemetery with Father Pius officiating.

Mr. Brignac, a resident of Mamou, was a veteran of WWII, having served in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife, Rose Belle Brignac of Mamou; one son, Paul Brignac of Mamou; three daughters, Gracie Landreneau and husband, Derrell of Mamou, Peggy Ardoin and husband, Benny of Pine Prairie, Betty Sattler and husband, Randy of Eunice; two brothers, Willis Brignac Jr. of Texas and Daniel Brignac of Lafayette; one sister, Lura Marcantel of Pine Prairie; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will take place on Friday, February 22, 2008 from 4:00 PM until 10:00 PM, and again on Saturday, February 23, 2008 from 8:00 AM until time of services. Rosary will be on Friday, February 22, 2008 at 7:00 PM.
