MAMOUIt is with the heaviest hearts and great sadness that the family of Auley Hollier announces his passing on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center at the age of 85. Funeral Services will be celebrated at St. Anns Catholic Church at 10:00 am on Monday, December 17, 2012. Interment will follow in the New St. Ann Cemetery with Father Mark Melancon Celebrant. Mr. Hollier is retired from the Air Force with twentyone years of service. He was the owner of Holliers Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. He loved to fish, hunt and camp, as well as spend time drawing and painting. He is survived by his wife, Euna Naquin Hollier of Mamou four daughters, Teresa Gayle Johnson Munson and her husband Bernie of Livingston, TX, Sandra Faye Hollier Lafleur of Mamou, Belinda Hollier Johnson Andrus and her husband Rob of Suffolk, VA, and Karen Hollier Deano and her husband David of Atlanta, GA twelve grandchildren and seventeen greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Octave and Eda Mistric Hollier, twelve siblings, and a grandson.
Family request that visitation be observed on Saturday, December 15, 2012 from 2:00 pm until 9:00pm and again on Sunday from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm. A Rosary will be recited on Sunday evening at 6:00 pm by Deacon Chuck Ortego The Funeral Home will reopen on Monday at 8:00 am until time of services, which will be at 10:00 am.
