MAMOU- It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Beaulah Mae Fontenot, age 76, announces her passing on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at High Hope Care Center in Sulphur. A chapel service will be held on Friday, October 2, 2015 at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Mamou at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Reed Cemetery with Deacon Chuck Ortego as officiant.
A loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend, Beaulah will be greatly missed by her son, Leonard Manuel and wife Theresa of Sulphur and sisters, Clara Bell Fontenot of Franklin, Barbara Manuel of Mamou, Ruby Deville of Reddell and Judy Fontenot of Mamou. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her 3 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Beaulah will now rest in Heaven with her parents, Octaire and Vergie Mae Vidrine and son, Derrell Manuel.
At the request of the Fontenot family, a visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Mamou from 4 PM until 8 PM and will reopen on Friday, October 2, 2015 at 8 AM until time of services. A rosary will be prayed in Ms. Beaulah's honor Thursday evening at 6 PM.
