Belinda Cay Chretien was born to the parentage of William Pyle and Patricia Parks on November 19, 1957, in Webster, Texas. She received her formal education in the Fort Worth Public School System, and graduated from Trimble Technical High School in 1974. She went on to obtain her certificate in medical transcription from Tarrant County College. She married Richard Chretien and to this union, one son was born. She was a medical transcriptionist for over twenty-five years and a unit clerk in the Oncology Unit of John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. Her parents preceded her in death. Belinda loved to read, watch movies, and was a thoughtful and patient woman who loved children.
Belinda leaves to cherish her memories: husband, Richard Chretien; son, Jason Chretien; daughter-in-law, Aimee Chretien; grandchildren, Ashton Chretien and Holden Chretien; mother-in-law, Hazel Chretien; aunt, Mary Sanger; brothers, Clinton Pyle and Nicholas Parks; "dad," Dewey Landrum; "mom," Sandy Landrum; "sister," Debra Fay Landrum; "brother," Dewey Landrum Jr.; several beloved sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, many nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A Visitation will take place at Ardoin Funeral Home in Mamou, La on March 25, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services at 2:00 p.m. . The services will take place at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Mamou. There will be a Rosary recited at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
