Belinda Saucier, a beloved soul who graced this world with her presence for 63 years, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024 in Alexandria, Louisiana. She was born on Friday, July 15, 1960, in Mamou, Louisiana, to her adoring parents J.L. and Helen Saucier.
Belinda dedicated her career to cleaning houses, where her meticulous work ethic and warm demeanor left a lasting impression on all those she encountered. Beyond her professional life, Belinda was known for her cooking talents, particularly her famous dish - Ponce. Her cooking skills were unparalleled, and those fortunate enough to taste her creations would "scrape the pot clean," savoring every last bite.
Belinda’s spirit lives on in the love and joy she brought into the lives of those closest to her heart including her son, Dustin (Amber Granger) of Eunice; daughter, Kesha Beal (Jimmie) of Jennings; seven grandchildren, Cora M., Scottie M., Tristen M., and Tyson B., Olivia Granger, Orly Granger, Danila Granger and Tyson Beal; and two great grandchildren, Aniston Manuel and Santiago Oros. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her brother, Randy Saucier of Mamou and her companion, Chad Johnson.
Belinda is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Melissa Saucier.
As we mourn the loss of Belinda, let us also celebrate the legacy she leaves behind - one of hard work, warmth, and culinary delights that will continue to be remembered for years to come. May she rest in peace knowing that she was truly loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
