MAMOU It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Berthaline Deshotel, 73, announces her passing on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Prairie Manor Nursing Home in Pine Prairie. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October16, 2011 at 1:00 pm at St. Ann Catholic Church in Mamou. Burial will follow in the Ortego Cemetery.

A loving sister, aunt and friend, Berthaline leaves behind her beloved sister, Wylene Deshotel Cole of Mamou nephew, Bobby Cole and companion, Stephanie of Mamou niece, Donna Angelle and husband, Aubrey of Leonville great nephews, Robert Cole and wife, Jessica, Randall Cole and wife, Adrian, all of Mamou great niece, Naomi Angelle of Leonville greatgreat nephews, Nicholas and Nathan Cole and sister in law, Barbara Deshotel and companion, Charles of Ville Platte.

She now joins in Heaven her parents, Rene and Lena Deshotel, and brother, Donald Lee Deshotel.

At the request of the family, visitation will take place at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou, Saturday, October 15, 2011 from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm, and again on Sunday, October 16, 2011 from 8:00 am until time of Services.
