Mamou It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family announces the death of Brad Manuel on Friday, October 08, 2010 at St. Lukes Episcopal Hospital in Houston at the age of 58. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, October 10, 2010 at Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou. Rite of committal will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice with Pastor David Plunkett and Pastor Gregory Gaspard officiating.
Brad was a production operator with Chevron for over 25 years, but mostly he was a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He enjoyed being with family, watching sports, raising animals, an avid outdoorsman and known as a prankster. Brad leaves behind his loving wife, Berna Dean Boone Manuel of Mamou his parents, Archie and Mildred Manuel of Mamou a son, Duffy Manuel and wife, Caroline of Vidrine a daughter, Nickie Miller and husband, Charles of Iota three brothers, Bradley Manuel of Mamou, Joe Manuel of Eunice and Mitch Manuel of Carencro three sisters, Phyllis Bergeron of Eunice, Stephanie Reed of Youngsville and Renee Manuel of Church Point and six grandchildren, Kodie, Caleb, Lauren, William, Nicholas and Isabella.
He now rests in Heaven with his beloved son, Bradford Paul Manuel II.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou on Saturday, October 9th from 3:00 pm until time of services on Sunday.
