VILLE PLATTE - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Mamou on Friday, November 23, 2018, for Brenda Lafleur, 57, who passed away on November 21, 2018 in Ville Platte, LA.

Father Billy Massie, pastor of St. Ann's Catholic Church, will be celebrant of the mass and will conduct funeral services.

Brenda was born in Houma, LA on July 25, 1961 to John Ashley Soileau and Grace Ann Fontenot Soileau. Brenda was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Brenda loved to sew, and she took great pride in sewing for her sons, grandson, nieces and nephews.
She also enjoyed cooking, technology, and antique shopping. She had a happy go lucky attitude and she loved her family immensely. Her selfless and caring nature made her loved and appreciated by everyone that shared their life with her.

She is survived by her mother, Grace Ann Soileau of Redell; two sons, Justin Paul Lafleur and wife Sarah of Grand Prairie and Ross Allen Lafleur of Grand Prairie; grandson, Ashley Paul Lafleur; and two sisters, Jessica Pohl and husband Bruce of Fort Worth, TX and Gretchell Rogers and husband Kenny of Ragley.

She is proceeded in death by her father, John Ashley Soileau.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Ardoin's Funeral Home of Mamou on Friday, November 23, 2018 from 9:00 AM to time of service. A rosary will be recited by Deacon Chuck Ortego at 1:00 PM.
