MAMOU - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM at Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou on Thursday, May 17, 2018, for Charles Nicholas Reed, 48, who passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018 in Mamou, LA.

Jamie Tyler, pastor of Our Savior's Church in Eunice, will conduct the funeral services.

Burial will take place in the Reed Cemetery in Mamou.

Charles Nicholas Reed was born in Eunice, Louisiana on December 4, 1969 to Charles Reed and Marshetta Reed.

He is survived by his parents, Charles Lee Reed and Marshetta Fuselier Reed of Mamou; three sons, Charles Taylor Reed and wife Lauren Lejeune Reed of Lake Charles, Makaylynn Reed Hanley, and Zachariah Nicholas Reed of Mamou; one daughter, Jadie Blair Reed of Mamou; three granddaughters, Anna Kate, Adalyn Grace and Alivia Marie Reed; one brother, Jonathan Wes Reed and wife, Heather Mayeux Reed; and two sisters, Remeia Reed and Kelly Reed Wilmouth and husband Bryan Wilmouth of Mamou.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Wesley Reed and Lurry Fontenot Reed; and his maternal grandparents, Alex Fuselier and Dula Vige Fuselier.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Mamou on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 from 3:00 PM until 10:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Thursday from 8:00 AM until time of service.
