Charles A. (Chuck) Sonnier, born in Mamou, Louisiana, on July 10, 1936, and residing in Mandeville, Louisiana, was welcomed into Our Lord's arms on November 23, 2015.

Chuck leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 23 years, Sandra, his sons, Scott (Robin), Kevin(Dona),Christopher(Pam) and Jeffery(Angela.) two brothers,
Keith Sonnier, of New York and Barry Sonnier of Miami FL.He is survived by his grandchildren, Jason, Jeremy(Lacey), Tyler(Lacey), Grant, Kelsey, Taylor, Richard Joseph, Kameron , Landon and Jacob Sonnier, and Lucy Hassinger. He also leaves behind two great grandchildren, Oliver Francis and Isla Mae.

Chuck was predeceased by his parents, Mae and Joseph Sonnier of Mamou, his first wife, Nora Prudhomme , his second wife, Vallie Jo Sonnier, and his grandson, Corey Sonnier.

At the request of the Sonnier family visitation will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at the Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou from 11:00 A.M until time of services. The service will be at 12;00 noon. A rosary will be recited at 11:40 A.M.

In lieu of flowers, Please make a donation to the Alzheimer's Association.
