alignleftMAMOU-Funeral Services will be Celebrated on Thursday, August 28, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. for Chester Paul Fontenot, 90, in the Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou. Burial will follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery with Father Bob Courville officiating the services.

Mr. Fontenot, a resident of Mamou, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at the Savoy Medical Center in Mamou.

He is survived by a son, Donald Fontenot and wife, Lisa of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; one brother; three sisters; one grandson and three great-grandchildren.

alignleft He is preceded in death by his wife, Aza Ardoin Fontenot; parents, Marcel Fontenot and Eve Devillier; one daughter, Patricia Fontenot Norse; one brother and one sister.

The family request that visiting hours be observed at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou on Wednesday, August 27, 2008 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and again on Thursday, August 28, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. until Services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening.

Ardoins Funeral Home of Mamou is in charge of arrangements.
