MAMOUThe devoted family of Clayton Guillory, 85 is sad to announce the death of their patriarch. Clayton went to join the Lord on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at 5:31 AM at Eunice Manor Nursing Home in Eunice. Chapel services will be held on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 10:30 AM at the Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou with Father Thainese officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Peters Cemetery in Pine Prairie.
Mr. Clayton was a former residence of the Beaver Community
A loving father, grandfather, greatgrandfather and friend, Clayton leaves behind a son, Michael Guillory and wife, Brenda of Warner Robins, Ga, two daughters, Kay Pittman and husband, Paul of St. Francesville and Nancy Guillory and husband, Patrick of Eunice, one brother, Bill Guillory of Dequincy and one sister, Nora Lee Soileau of Ville Platte, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
He will now rest in Heaven with his wife Roberta Guillory, his parents, Louis and Omerine Fontenot Guillory, three brothers, Calvin, Nelson and Alvin Guillory and four sisters, Joyce Fontenot, Dela Mae Guillory, Ella Rose Evans and Agnes Young. They surely await his arrival with open arms and joyous hearts.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home on Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM. A Rosary will be recited in his honor on Thursday evening at 6:00 PM by Deacon Chuck Ortego the Funeral Home will reopen on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 8:00 AM until time of services.
