MAMOUIt is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of, Clyde Sylvester, 77 announces his passing on Friday, September 27, 2013 at 10:30 pm at his residence in Lafayette. Chapel Services will be held on Saturday, October 05, 2013 at 3:00 PM at the Ardoins Funeral Chapel in Mamou. Burial will be follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery with Deacon William Roche officiating.
Clyde will be greatly missed by his three children, Craig Sylvester and wife Robin Harris of Sterling, VA, Todd Sylvester and wife Robin Zerangue of Katy, TX and Cynthia Sylvester Gerard and husband Pat of Clemson, S.C. two brothers, Gardnel Sylvester of Ville Platte and Roland Sylvester of New Iberia six grandchildren, Tristin Sylvester, Travis Sylvester, Royce Sylvester, Anna Theresa Sylvester, Erin Gerard and Rachel Gerard.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Marcantel Sylvester, one brother J.L. Sylvester.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou on Saturday, October 05, 2013 from 10:00 am until 3:00 PM ..
