Mamou- Funeral services for Mr. Curley Courville were held at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 9, 2006 at St. Anns Catholic Church. Burial followed in the Pine Point Cemetery, with Fr. Pius Vallooran officiating.

Mr. Courville, age 86, a resident of Mamou, La, died on Tuesday, August 8, 2006,

At Savoy Medical Center in Mamou, La. Mr. Courville was preceded in death by his wife, Esther Guillory Courville and one son, Fred Courville; one grandson, David Courville; and one great grandson Dustin Boone; one brother, Isom Courville.

The visitation was held on Tuesday, August 8, 2006, from 5:00P.M. until 10:00 P.M. And again on Wednesday, August 9, 2006, from 8:00 A.M. until time of services. A rosary was recited on Tuesday, August 8, 2006, at 7:00 P.M.

Survivors include, his daughter, Vivian Johnson and husband, Joe of Mamou, La; one brother Calvin Courville, of Lafayette, La; one sister, Mary soileau, of Alexandria, La.; Mr. Courville was also survived by six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
