MAMOU - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Mamou on Saturday, March 29, 2018, for Dana Manuel Gore, 44, who passed away on March 27, 2018 in Mamou, LA.

Brother Ervin Goodman will conduct the funeral services.

Burial will take place First Baptist Cemetery in Mamou, LA.

Dana Manuel Gore was born in Mamou, LA on September 20, 1973 to Edison "T-Ed" Manuel and Linda Brannen Manuel. After working at Wal-mart for 15 years she retired and started babysitting. She loved the precious little ones she babysat like they were her own children. She loved taking trips to the mall and shopping for shoes, purses and clothes. Dana was a true friend she would do anything for those she knew and loved.

Dana will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her especially her loving husband of 22 years, Jerry Gore; mother, Linda Manuel; brothers, Eugene and Victor Manuel; godchild, Ashton Ashford, nephew, Austin Futrell; niece, Ashley Dietz; her pals and confidants, Dionne Wilson and Gwen LaFleur; and her mother in law, Annie "Old Lady" Gore.

She is preceded in death by her Father T-Ed Manuel; brother, Danny Manuel; half-brother, Wade Samford; and father-in-law, Archie "Corn" Gore.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Mamou on Friday, March 30, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Visitation will continue Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of service.
