MAMOU A wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Dee Ella Espree wil be missed by all who knew and loved her. Dee died at Ville Platte Medical Center on Friday, February 12, 2010 at the age of 77. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 1:00 pm at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow in the Pine Claire Cemetery with Father Jude Thierry Celebrant.

Left behind to cherish her memories are her six children, Julius Semien and wife, Marjorie of Redoak, TX, Horace Semien and wife, Ingrid of Los Angeles, CA, John Espree and wife, Bonnie of Duncanville, TX, Harry Espree and wife Cheryl of Crowley, TX, Patrick Espree and wife, Belinda of Lufkin, TX, and Paula Espree of Grand Prairie, TX, one sister, Rita Latour of Oakdale eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Now she rest in heaven with her parents, Preston and Ament Prudhomme husband, Rufus Espree Sr. grandson, Anthony Semien two brothers, Wesley and Preston Prudhomme and two sisters, Mary Coutee and Lou Anna Simon.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou on Saturday, February 20, 2010 from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 10:00 am Saturday morning.
