MAMOU It is with immense sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Delcambre James Courville, 51, announces his passing on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at his residence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 8, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow in the First BaptistBieber Cemetery in Mamou with Father Mark Melancon as Celebrant.
A loving son, father, grandfather, brother and friend, James leaves behind his father, Kenneth Courville of Vidrine two Children, Kenny Courville of Mamou and Brittany Reed and her husband, Joseph of Ponchatoula one brother, Randy Courville of Reddell three sisters, Samantha Trattles, and Kim Landreneau and her husband Mike, both of Vidrine and Maxie Deville and her husband, Keith of Pine Prairie two grandchildren, Payton Lee Reed and Lathen James Reed. They were the absolute light of his life.
He will now rest in Heaven with his mother, Wilma Thibodeaux Courville. She surely awaits his arrival with open arms and a joyous heart.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home on Thursday, August 7, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M. The Funeral Home will reopen on Friday, August 8, 2014 at 8:00 AM until time of services. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday evening at 7:00 P.M. by Deacon Chuck Ortego.
