MAMOU- It is great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Dennis Ray Hoffpauir, 75, announces his passing on Wednesday, March 18, 2015. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March, 20, 2015 at 10 AM at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Mamou. An entombment will follow in the new St. Ann's Mausoleum with Father Mark Melancon as Celebrant.
A loving, husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Dennis will be missed by his loving wife of 54 years, Lou Fontenot Hoffpauir, sons, Mitch Arnaud of Mamou, and Tony Hoffpauir of New Orleans, daughter, Mandy Soileau of Mamou, and sister-in-law, Marilyn Fontenot of Lafayette. Also left behind to cherish his memory are his 4 grandchildren: Dustin Arnaud, Justin Arnaud, Brandon Soileau, Grant Hoffpauir Vidrine and a host of nieces and nephews.
Dennis is now renunited in heaven with his parents, Wilbur and Berna Ardoin Hoffpauir and brother Daniel Hoffpauir. They will be awaiting his arrival with open arms and joyous hearts.
At the request of the Hoffpauir family, a visitation will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2015 10 AM until 9 PM at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Mamou and will reopen on Friday, March 20, 2015 at 8 AM until time services. A rosary will be recited in Mr. Hoffpauir's honor on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 6:30 PM.
All arrangements have been entrusted to Ardoin's Funeral Home of Mamou.
