MAMOU It is with great sadness that the family of Derryl Chapman, 60, announces his passing on Wednesday, April 01, 2010 at Savoy Care Center in Mamou. Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 02, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church in Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow in the New St. Ann Cemetery with Father Bryce Sibley Celebrant.

Derryl, a loving son, brother, uncle and friend, will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Audrey G. Chapman of Mamou brother, Randel Chapman and wife, Margaret Fruge Chapman of Ville Platte sister, Deidre Dupre and husband, Glynn of Mamou nephews, Lance Chapman, Dr. Jonathan Luke Chapman, Adam Chapman, Bryan Dupre and niece, Paige Dupre.

The family request that visiting hours be observed Thursday, April 01, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Friday, April 03, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Thursday evening.
