Diana Deshotels

MAMOU – Graveside services will be held at Courville Cemetery on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at 10:00 AM, for Diana Mary Deshotels, 81, who passed away Saturday, June 11, 2022.

She is survived by her nieces, Charlene Benoit of Carencro, Margaret Ardoin of Basile, and Karen Rougeau of Eunice; stepdaughter, Sonya Deshotels; stepson, Elward Deshotels, Jr. of Mamou; nephews, Roddy Aguillard of Cameron, and Glenn Aguillard of Mamou; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Fontenot of Wyoming; four great-grandchildren; and sister, Elsie Prather of Jennings.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Antoine and Louise Guidry; husband, Elward Deshotels; son, Craig Deshotels; grandson, Garret Deshotels; brothers, Sydney Guidry and Joseph Guidry; and sisters, Hazel Aguillard and Inez Schmitt.

At the request of the family, visitation will be observed at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Mamou on Monday, June 13, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Visitation will resume Tuesday, June 14, 2022, from 8:00 AM until time of service.
