Dianna Blood

Dianna Blood, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at the age of 60. Born on March 13, 1964, in Ville Platte, Louisiana, Dianna graced the world with her compassionate spirit and warm smile that could light up the darkest of days.

Dianna dedicated many years of her life to serving others as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Her career was a true reflection of her caring nature, as she approached each day with the desire to help those in need. Through her work, Dianna showed an unwavering commitment to the well-being of her patients, treating everyone with dignity and kindness. She believed in the healing power of compassion and made an indelible mark on the lives of those she cared for.

Family was at the heart of Dianna’s life. She will be deeply missed by her children, Kayla Contreras and husband, Tyler, Lexie Blood and husband, Zack Johnson, Tiffany Blood and spouse, Joe Navarre and Cody Blood; grandkids, Brooklyn Johnson, Rosalie Conteras, Isabella Contreras, Jay Manuel, Olivia Blood, Callie Doucet and Jacob Doucet.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry Smith and Willie Mae Ortego; her husband, Stoney Blood, Sr.; her brothers, Mike Smith and Glen Smith and her sister, Ann Soileau.

Visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Mamou on Friday, February 7, 2025, beginning from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
