Vidrine It is with great sadness that the family of Dorothy Guillory, 79, announces her passing on January 17, 2010 at Prairie Manor Nursing Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at 2:00 pm at St. Ann Catholic Church in Mamou, Louisiana. Rite of committal will follow in the B.J. Fontenot Cemetery in Ville Platte
A loving mother, sister, and grandmother, Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by one son Joseph Jimmie Guillory and wife Deborah Corkran Guillory of Vidrine, one daughter Evelyn G. Ardoin and husband Steven G. Ardoin of Vidrine, one sister Eloise Lejeune and husband Gerald Lejeune of Eunice, and four grandchildren Josh Ardoin, Sonja Ardoin, Tyler Guillory, and Morgan Guillory.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Lennis A. Guillory, parents Elna and Octave Fontenot, and brothers Leonard Fontenot, Aaron Fontenot, and Len Fontenot.
Family request that visiting hours be observed Monday, January 18, 2010 from 3:30 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 from 8:00 am until time of service. A rosary will be recited on Monday evening at 7:00 pm.Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou is in charge of arrangements.
