P aligncenter It is with great sadness that the family of Dorothy Manuel announces her passing on Wednesday August, 12, 2009
At her residence at the age 69. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 14, 2009 at 3:00 PM at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow in the Reeds Cemetery with Father Jude Thierry officiating.

Mrs. Manuel a resident of Mamou will be greatly missed by her husband, Rapheal Manuel of Mamou; five sons, Mike Vidrine, Steven Vidrine, Kyle Vidrine, Shannon Vidrine, and Doug Granger, all of Mamou; one daughter, Rachel Manuel Rowland of Lake Charles; one brother Wallace Jim Thompson of Mamou; thirteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tanzy and Sid Thompson and one sister, Lena Devillier.

At the reguest of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home of Mamou

On Thursday, August 13, 2009 from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm . A rosary will be recited at 7:00pm on Thursday.
