Mamou- Funeral services were held on Friday, April 27, 2007, at the First Baptist Church in Mamou, for Edward Eddie Besson, 51, with Rev. Ervin Goodman officiating. Burial followed in the First Baptist Cemetery.

Mr. Besson, a resident of Mamou, died on Thursday April, 26, 2007 at 12:30 A.M. at his residence, following an illiness of six months.

Eddie, is survived by a brother, Ronald D. Donohue and his wife, Nittie of Mamou,La; four nieces; four nephews; two great nieces; three great nephews; He is also survived, by two brother-in-laws, Richard Soileau and Dennis Manuel both of Mamou.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey Besson and Ouida Fay Dyson; three sisters, Debra Fay Spence, Sherry Lynn Soileau, and Terry Kay Manuel.
