MAMOU Edward went to be with our Lord in Heaven. He passed on August 17, 2014 at Savoy Medical Center, at 8:50 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 17, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou. Rite of committal will follow in the Perron Cemetery in Mamou.
Mr. Edward was a Korean Veteran having served in the United States Army He retired after 53 years working for Bolard Marine MFG, INC.


A loving father, grandfather and friend, Edward leaves behind four children, Bobby Guillory , Kathy Guillory Reed and husband, Patrick, GiGi Guillory and Tammy Gravois all of Mamou one brother, J.L. Guillory and two sisters, Virgie Smith and June Fontenot He was further blessed with six grandchildren , Michael Auxilien, Andrew, Erik and Abby Skahl, Heaven and Bella Guillory.. They were the absolute light of his life.
He will now rest in Heaven with his wife, Katherine Guillory, his parents, Addison Guillory and Eula Crawford five brothers, Earnest, J.B., A.D., Inky, and James Guillory and two sisters, Viola Barker and Jean Gaspard. They surely await his arrival with open arms and joyous hearts.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home on Monday, August 18, 2014 from 3:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M. on Monday Evening. The Funeral Home will reopen on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at 8:00 AM until time of services. Family and friends may view the online obituary and sign the guestbook at www.ardoinfuneralhomes.com.
