MAMOUIt is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Elizabeth Gail Darbonne age 50, announces her passing on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 1:00 pm at the Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou. Interment will follow in the First Baptist Cemetery in Mamou with Brother Ervin Goodman officiating.
Elizabeth was a homemaker and dedicated herself to the love and care of her family. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, she leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of twentyfive years Patrick Dale Darbonne of Mamou her parents, Robert and Rose Mae Lafleur of Basile three sons, Joseph Tony Johnson, Jr. and wife Connie of Mamou, Jacob Johnson of Ville Platte and James Gabriel Darbonne of Mamou one daughter, Jacente Jack of Lake Charles two brothers, Donald Paul Lafleur and wife Tammy of Ville Platte and James Ray Lafleur and wife Jackie of Mamou She was blessed with eight grandchildren, Kalob
James Johnson, Jessie James Johnson, Taylor Jack, Sydnie Jack, Jordan Jack, Zoe Dardonne, Braxton Darbonne and Jacqueline Pierrottie. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by two daughters, Monica Ann Johnson and Crystal Gail Johnson At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 from 3:00 pm until time of Services on Wednesday.
