Mamou - Memorial services will be held at Savoy Heights on Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at 1:00 PM for Elizabeth Mae Watson, 78, who passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2018.

Elizabeth, affectionately known as Ms. Liz, was born in Fenton, Louisiana, November 04, 1939, to Adros Granger and Lou Vine Fontenot Granger.

Ms. Liz lived in many cities across the country. Ultimately, she moved to Mamou to be close to her sister, Dorothy Benoit, and nieces and nephew, Sonya Christopher, Jessica Berger and Scott Benoit. She loved sharing her baked goods, poems and stories with those in her community at Savoy Heights. She was as a positive, giving, joyous, and loving woman. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son Kevin Grobsky, daughters Rachel Tedder and Vanessa Peralez, sister Dorothy Benoit, brother Austin Ray Pitre, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Adros Granger and Lou Vine Fontenot Granger, her husband William "Bill" Watson and niece, Erica Benoit.
