MAMOUThe devoted family of Ella F. Perron, 96 is sad to announce the death of their patriarch. Ella went to join the Lord on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 4:01 AM at Savoy Care Center in Mamou. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 3:00 PM at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery with Father Thainese as Celebrant.
A loving mother, grandmother and greatgrandmother, Ella leaves behind a son, Derrell Perron and his wife, Faye of Mamou two daughters, Sybil Ann Nines and her husband, John of Cleveland, Ohio and Jane Ella Fontenot and her husband, Wayne of Mamou one daughterinlaw, Shirley Perron of Mamou Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her grandchildren, she was blessed with twelve Donald Perron, Naomi Ruegge, Ricky Peters, Penny Welch, Scott Peters, David Nines, Cindy Nines, Angie Nines, Tammy Vincent, Jeremy Perron, Sadie Fontenot and Haley Miller She was further blessed with thirteen great grandchildren and two great greatgrandchildren they were the absolute light of her life.
She will now rest in Heaven with her husband, Douglas Perron, her parents, Lubin and Martia Fontenot, one son, Terry Perron, two daughters, Bonnie Ann Peters and Janella Perron and one brother Chester Fontenot. They surely await her arrival with open arms and joyous hearts.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home on Monday, May 19, 2014 from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM. A Rosary will be recited in her honor on Monday evening at 6:00 PM by Deacon Chuck Ortego the Funeral Home will reopen on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 8:00 AM until time of services.
