MAMOU - It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of, Ellarene Kilgore,75, announces her passing on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 10:55 A.M. at Eunice Manor Nursing Home in Eunice. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 9:30 A.M. at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow in the New St. Ann's Cemetery with Fr. Travis Abadie Celebrant.
Ellarene will be greatly missed by her son, Jimmy Kilgore,Jr. and JoAnn, ;one daughter Robin Kamel and husband, Omar of Sulphur; four brothers, Byron Soileau of Reddell, Carroll Soileau of Reddell, Jerry Soileau of Mamou and Kenneth Soileau of Baton Rouge; six grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Ellarene will now reunite in Heaven with her husband, Jimmy E. Kilgore, Sr, , her parents, Melvin and Exina O'Connor Soileau, one daughter, Rachelle
Kilgore , one grandson, Joseph "Joey" Balfa two brothers, Ronald and J.B. Soileau, a sister, Emma Fontenot. They surely await her arrival with open arms and a joyous heart.

At the request of the Kilgore family visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Mamou on Monday, September 21, 2015 from 1:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 P.M. Monday evening.
