MAMOU It is great sadness that the family of Ethan Mitchell Soileau announces his passing on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Savoy Medical Center in Mamou. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at 3:00 PM. The service will take place at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou with Rite of Committal to follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery. Father Mark Melancon will act as Celebrant.
Young Ethans memory will most certainly be cherished by his devoted parents, Derrick and Tiffany Vizina Soileau of Mamou. He also leaves behind his paternal grandparents, Mitchell K. and Linda Soileau of Mamou, his maternal grandmother, Stephanie Futch also of Mamou and his great grandparents, Lionel and Winnie McGee of Lanse Aux Pailles. Ethan is also survived by his loving aunts, Miranda Lavergne of Eunice and Rachel Labit of Houma. He will be sadly missed by all who were fortunate enough to share his short time here on earth, for he is surely among the angels now.
At the request of the Soileau family, visitation will take place at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou, beginning 8:00 AM Thursday, January 19, 2012 and continue until time of services. A Rosary will be recited, in his memory, Thursday afternoon at 2:30 PM.
