Mamou- Funeral services for Eura Mae Savant , 72, were held on Saturday, January 27, 2007 10:00 A.M. at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou with burial in the New St. Anns Mausoleum. Father Pius Vallooran officiated at the services.

Mrs. Savant , a resident of Mamou died on Thursday, January 25, 2007, at the Evangeline Extended Care Hospital in Mamou.

Eura Mae Savant, is survived by two daughters, Phyllis Reed and husband Garry of Mamou; Sheila Fuselier and husband Connie Mack of Eunice; one son, Todd Savant of Mamou; two brothers, Burke Young and wife, Bea; Clayton Young all of Mamou. nine grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation is on January, 26, 2007 from 2:00 pm- until 10:00p.m. The funeral home will reopen on Saturday, January 27, 2007 at 8:00 A.M. until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 P.M. on Friday, January 26, 2007.
