MAMOU- Fern Lou Guillory, 87, went to be with our Lord in Heaven. She passed peacefully at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette on Monday, February 29, 2016 at 9:38 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow in the New St. Ann's Cemetery in Mamou with Father Thainese Celebrant.

A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, sister and friend, Fern Lou leaves behind three daughters, Kay Thompson and husband Robert, Sheila Aymond and husband, Terral all of Mamou and Paulette Cousins and husband, Shawn of Needville, TX, one sister Mary Nell Fontenot of Mamou, two brothers, Daniel Vidrine and wife, Helen of St. Francisville and Joseph Bob Vidrine and wife, Martha of Ville Platte, six grandchildren , Terra Fontenot, Kristyn Marcantel, Justin Aymond, Robbie Thompson, Mandy Thompson and Abby Cousins, 11 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
She will now rest in Heaven with her husband, Paul C. Guillory, her parents Yourick and Agnes Vidrine and one sister, Suzette Haymond. They surely await her arrival with open arms and joyous hearts. Their reunion will surely be a joyous one.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 from 1:00 P.M. until time of services on Wednesday. Family and friends may view the online obituary and sign the guestbook at www.ardoinfuneralhomes.com.
