Mamou- Funeral services for Gary James Galous Fontenot will be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at St. Anns Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Pine Point Cemetery with Father Pius Vallooran officiating.

Mr. Fontenot, age 53, a resident of Mamou, La, died on Tuesday, August 29, 2006, at his resident following a short illness. Fontenot was preceded in death by his parents, Toland, and Morjorie Fontenot.

The visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2006, from 6:00 p.m. until time of services on Wednesday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday , August 29, 2006.

Survivors include two sisters , Mary and Sheila Fontenot both of Mamou; one step-daughter , Tiffany Aucoin of Mamou, La. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
