George Ardoin

MAMOU - Funeral services will be held at a 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou on Monday, November 15, 2021, for George Oliver Ardoin who passed away on October 30, 2021.

Father Kevin Bordelon will be celebrant of the Mass and will conduct funeral services.

Burial will follow in New St. Ann’s Cemetery.

George is survived by his parents, Joseph Eric Ardoin and Maria Lee Ardoin; sister, Amelia Grace Ardoin; brothers, Anthony Dale Manuel and John Tansey Ardoin; maternal grandmother, Eva Marie Lee; paternal grandparents, Benny and Judy Ardoin; paternal great-grandmother, Aline Ardoin; uncles, Jeremy Ardoin and Wayne Ewing; godfather, Mitch Soileau; godmother, Cynthia Prejean; close friend of family, Susan Marcantel and her family; and numerous great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Dale Thomas Lee; maternal great-grandparents, Roy and Ethel Fontenot; and paternal great-grandfather, Calvin Ardoin.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021, from 9:00 AM until time of service.  A rosary will be recited by Deacon Chuck Ortego on Monday at 10:00 AM.

Ardoin's Funeral Home in Mamou is in charge of arrangements.
