MAMOUIt is with great sadness that the family of George Soileau announces his passing on Saturday November 24, 2012 at his residence.He was 86. Chapel Services will be held at Ardoin Funeral Home in Mamou at 10:30 am on Monday, November 26, 2012. Burial will follow in the New St. Anns Mausoleum with Father Mark Melancon Celebrant.. A loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, George is survived by his wife of 66 years, Carrie Lou Fontenot Soileau of Mamou two sons Farrell Keith Soileau and wife Patricia Ann of Mamou and Peter Christopher Soileau and wife Jacqueline of Brandon, Miss: one daughter, Christina Marie Soileau of Eunice one grandchild, Lillian Anita Soileau. He was preceded in death by his parents, Felician and Ada Soileau. At the request of the family , visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou on Monday November 26, 2012 from 8:30 am until time of services.
