MAMOU The family of Gerald Coochie Jack announce his passing on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at his residence .He was 59. Funeral Services will be held at 10 am on Saturday, September 24, 2011, St. Anns Catholic Church, with Father Mark Melancon Celebrant. Interment will follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery .
Sadly missed but joyfully remembered by his wife of seven years, Mary Jack of Mamou three stepsons, Noel Fontenot, of Mamou, Joseph Irvin Edwards, of Ville Platte, and Kevin Edwards, Lake Charles two Step daughters, Lillian Marie Edwards, of Carencro, and Suprina Marie Edwards, of Lake Charles two brothers, Eldrick Jack and Shedrick and wife Jean all of HoustonTx .one sister, Elverena Hutchinson of Houston, Tx. one uncle, Julius Pete Thomas and one aunt Ellen Fontenot both of Mamou He was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson and Isabelle Jack.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou on Friday, September 23, 2011 from 5:00 pm until10:00 pm the funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Saturday until time of services at 10:00 am . A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Friday evening, by Mrs. Anna Deculus.
