Mamou- Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. for Gloria M. Fontenot, 79, at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou, La with Father Bob Courville offiociating. Burial will follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery.

Mrs. Fontenot, a resident of Mamou, died on Monday, October 15, 2007, at Savoy Medical Center in Mamou.

She is survived by two sons, Jeffery Fontenot and wife, Mary of Mamou, and Anthony Tony Fontenot of Mamou; two daughters, Brenda Fruge and husband, Clifton J. of Mamou, and Joanah Manuel and husband, Gregory of Mamou; 12 grandchildren; and 26 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Voorhies J. Fontenot.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, October 16, 2007 from 3:00 p.m. - until 10.00p.m.

The Funeral home will reopen at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 until time of services.

A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at 6:30 p.m.

Ardoins Funeral Home of Mamou will be in charge of arrangements.
