MAMOU - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM at Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou on Wednesday, July 4, 2018, for Harris Manuel, Sr., 93, who passed away on Monday, July 2, 2018 in Mamou, LA.

Deacon Chuck Ortego will conduct the funeral services.

Burial will take place in the Reed Cemetery in Mamou.

Harris Manuel, Sr. was born on March 22, 1925 to Jean Even Manuel and Enise Menier Manuel.

He is survived by his three sons, Harris Manuel, Jr. and wife Charlotte of Noel, MO, Pat Manuel and wife Barbara of Scott and John Wade Manuel of Scott; daughter, Hedy Andrepont and husband Dean of Scott; eight grandchildren, Michael Manuel, Kelly Saccaro, Hayley Delacanal, Sean Manuel, Garrett Wiggins, Ian Wiggins, John Wade Manuel, II and Justin Manuel; thirteen great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Gladys Miller Manuel; sister, Pearl Granger and Elodias Manuel who was a lifelong non-relative family member.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Mamou on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Visitation will continue Wednesday from 10:00 AM until time of service.

The family would like to extend a special Thank You to Savoy Care Center in Mamou.
