MAMOUIt is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Helen Belle Gary
announces her passing on Tuesday, August 02, 2011 at Bay Shore Hospital in Pasadena, TX at the age of 67. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 04, 2011 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Mamou. Interment will follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery with Father Mark Melancon officiating.

Helen, a loving mother, sister and friend, will be sadly missed by her son, Cal Gary of Houston, TX brother, George Fontenot of Jennings, LA and a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husbands, Connie Mack Gary and Henry Gaspard her parents, Nat and Eldina Fontenot and brother, J.L. Fontenot.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou on Wednesday, August 03, 2011 from 12:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Thursday, August 04, 2011 from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Wednesday evening.
