MAMOUA wonderful husband, father, brother, grandfather and great granfather, Herbert will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Herbert died peacefully on Saturday, January 02, 2010 at Prairie anor Nursing Home in Pine Prairie He was 85. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Monday, January 11, 2010 at 2:00 pm at St. Peters Catholic Church in Pine Prairie with Father Richard Broussard officiating. Rite of Committal will follow in the Ortego Cemetery.

Herbert leaves behind a loving and grateful family including his loving wifeLorena D. Johnson, two daughters, Sarah Dupre and Lisa J. Fontenot one brother, Louis Johnson all of Pine Prairie. He is preceded in death by his parents, Theomile and Eloise Devillier Johnson, and two sisters, Vinnie Deshotel and Hilda Veillon.
the family requests that visitation take place on Monday, January 02, 2010 from 5:00 pm until time of Services at Ardoin Funeral Home in Mamou. A Rosary will be recited at.
