MAMOUIt is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Hilton Douget, 82 announces his passing on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at 8:52 am at Savoy Care Center in Mamou. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 2:00 pm at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery in with Father Thainese Celebrant.
Hilton will be greatly missed by his son, Shawn Douget and wife, Brenda of Lanse Meg one daughter, Coletta Douget Soileau and husband, Wayne of Reddell two sisters, Mary Alice Douget LaFleur of Mamou and May Grace Douget Soria of Lafayette four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
He now rejoices in Heaven with his beloved wife, Priscilla Guillory Douget, one son, Trent Douget, his parents, Lee and Edia Fuselier Douget and two brothers, Lionel and Liorest Douget and one sister, Laura May Douget Fontenot.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home on Thursday, January 30, 2014 from 8:30 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 1:30 pm An American Legion Service will be held on Thursday at 1:15 pm at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou.
