MAMOUIt is with great sadness that the family of Irvin ToTo Dupre,75, announces his passing on Monday, May 23, 2011, at the Savoy Care Center. Funeral Services will be celebrated Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at 2:00 pm at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow in the Reeds Cemetery with Father Chanh, celebrant.
Mr. ToTo, a resident of Mamou, retired truck driver from Wanda Petroleum.A loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, greatgrandfather, and friend, he will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 30 years Mary Ellen Dupre of Mamou one son , James Brent Dupre, of Basile two brothers, Jean Valmon Dupre, Jr of Eunice, Herbert Lee Dupre of Surprise, Arizonatwo sisters, Martha Jane Dupre, of Mamou, and Elwyn J. Bosley, of Virgina Beach, Virgina two grandchildren, Morgan Leah Dupre and Colby Dupre four stepgrandchildren, Jessica Lynn Gaspard, Robin Johnson, Johnny Lee Reed, and Billy Reed six stepgreatgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Valmon and Georgina Dupre and one brother, Michael Wayne Dupre.
At the request of the family, visitation will be observed at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 from 11:00 am until time of services, Wednesday, May 25, 2011 . A rosary will be recited at 6:30 pm Tuesday evening.
