Mamou-Funeral services will be held for , Mrs. Ivy Fruge Molitor, 95, on Friday, June 1, 2007 ,11:00 a.m., at St. Anns Catholic Church with Father Randy Moreau officiating. Burial will follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery.

Mrs. Molitor, a resident of Spring Prairie Community died on Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at 11:40 a.m. at the Evangeline Extended Care Hospital in Mamou following a long illness.

She is survived, by a son, Clancy Molitor and his wife, Benita, of Lafayette, La; three daughters, Anita M. Seiley of Mamou, La, Dorothy Marcantel and husband, Herschel of Spring Prairie community, and Regina Lejeune and husband Mike of Mamou; eighteen grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren, and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Ivy was preceded in death by her husband, Melton Molitor, two sons, J.E. Molitor, and Randy Molitor, and one daughter, Callie Ann Molitor.

Visitation will take place, on Thursday, May 31, 2007 from, 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. The Funeral Home will reopen on Friday, June 1, 2007 at 8:00 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2007.

Ardoin Funeral Home of Mamou was in charge of the arrangements.
