MAMOUIt is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Linus Dupuis announces his passing on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at the Prairie Manor Nursing Home in Pine Prairie at the age of 77. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 14, 2013 at St. Anns Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Reed Cemetery with Father mark Melancon officiating.

Linus was a retired supervisor with Contel Telephone Company in Texas, he loved to garden and do woodwork. Linus served the United States Marines in the Korean War. He was a beloved husband, father, uncle, grandfather and great grandfather. Linus will be missed greatly by his wife, Linda L. Dupuis of Mamou six children, Michelle Johnson and husband Darrell of Perryville AR, Glenda Rhodes and husband, Doug of Opello, AR and Steve Dupuis and wife, Cindy of Farmersville, CA., Paula Watts and husband Joseph of Kinder, Phyllis Peeler and husband Chris of Lumberton, TX and Joey Guillory and wife Peggy of Lumberton, TX. Fourteen grandchildren and fourteen greatgrandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Dad and Bessie Guillory Dupuis and two brothers,Jake and Floyd Dupuis.
At the request of the family visitation will be held at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou on Monday, January 14, 2013 from 1:00 pm until time of Services.
